Limited Edition Release: Curtiz — Intuitive Analysis

Limitedd Edition announces the release of Intuitive Analysis, a striking triptych of wood prints by Belgian artist Curtiz (Kris De Meester). Comprising three interrelated works, this edition explores the fragile boundary between structure and dissolution—where architecture, memory, and atmosphere merge into a single visual language.

Architecture as Intuition

In Intuitive Analysis, Curtiz departs from literal representation to investigate how urban forms are perceived rather than documented. Towering architectural silhouettes emerge, blur, and partially collapse into clouds of pigment and shadow. The works suggest buildings not as static constructions, but as psychological spaces—shaped by repetition, erosion, and emotional residue.

The triptych format is essential: each panel operates as an independent image while simultaneously forming a continuous rhythm. Together, they evoke a slow analytical process that is not rational but instinctive—an intuition-driven reading of the modern city.

Wood as Image, Wood as Interference

Printed directly onto FSC-certified birch wood, the triptych gains a tactile, material presence that aligns seamlessly with Curtiz’s visual language. The wood surface is intentionally left active: its grain, density shifts, and subtle imperfections interact with the image, sometimes softening edges, sometimes interrupting color fields.

These variations—visible in lighter areas, uneven saturation, and gentle textural noise—are not production flaws but intrinsic to the work. They reinforce the sense of instability and material honesty that defines Intuitive Analysis. Each panel is therefore slightly different, making every triptych genuinely unique.

The matte finish and clean, edge-to-edge printing ensure a contemporary presentation, while the natural ruggedness of the wood resists any sense of sterile perfection.

A Triptych as Object

Intuitive Analysis exists as much as an object as it does an image. The weight, thickness, and tactile surface of the wood panels give the work a sculptural quality—somewhere between print, painting, and architectural fragment.

This Limitedd Edition release offers collectors a cohesive, immersive work that embraces imperfection, material presence, and intuitive perception. It is not a polished image of the city, but a lived one—fragmented, atmospheric, and unresolved.
